When we got married, it was delightful chaos - great ceremony, amazing mariachi, caterers were 2 hours late & by the time they arrived, everyone was so tipsy that we all decided we were superheros & didn't need anything so pedestrian as food. Fortunately, it was Cinco de Mayo, mezcal was flowing like water, we were covered in great jewelry & cascarones & everyone had a blast!
